Ceist:249 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the current position in relation to the new by-laws for harbours which have been awaited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23949/00]
Written Answers. - New Harbour By-Laws.
The local authority concerned proposes to make bye-laws for the harbour in question and has, therefore, requested that the limits of the harbour be defined in accordance with section 91 of the Harbours Act, 1996. A draft order was forwarded to the local authority and modifications proposed by it are under consider ation in conjunction with the parliamentary counsel's office. The order will be finalised as soon as possible.
