363 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the position in relation to a 2000 special beef premium application for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24816/00]
An application for special beef premium in respect of five animals was received by my Department from the person named on 31 May 2000. This application has been fully processed.
However, details of his milk quota which are required in order to establish his entitlement to premium have not yet been received by my Department. In order to expedite payment, the person named should forward a statement from his creamery of his milk quota for the year 2000.
364 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when cattle headage will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [24817/00]
The person named included the same parcel of land twice on his 2000 area aid application form. The area aid unit is prepared to consider this as an obvious error and will reduce the area on his application without penalty.
365 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if his Department has received a submission from a person (details supplied) in County Carlow in relation to his application for a 2000 suckler cow premium; if his Department has examined the very genuine case made by this person; if the case will be expedited with a view to giving a positive reply; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An appeal was lodged by the herdowner on 3 November 2000 concerning his 2000 suckler cow premium application. Appeals require individual examination and are dealt with in the order in which they are received. This appeal will be examined in due course and the herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
