782 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the request of the St. Agatha's Development Group 2001 for funding under the Garda youth diversion projects was received in time for consideration in view of his Departments letter (details supplied); and if the request will now be given full and proper consideration. [23960/00]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue):

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the proposal submitted by St. Agatha's Development Group was not received in time for consideration under the current phases of the national development plan. The proposal will however receive full and proper consideration for inclusion in any further phases of expansion.
