Austin Deasy

Ceist:

132 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number and location of people employed in the Land Registry Office. [25884/00]

The total number of persons employed in the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds on 31 October 2000 was 580, of which 421 were based in Dublin and 159 in Waterford.

I should mention that the total staffing figure includes 54 officers serving in a job-sharing capacity. On 31 October 2000, 51 of the 421 Dublin based staff and three of the Waterford based staff were job-sharers.

Question No. 133 taken with Question No. 116.
