Written Answers. - Public Private Partnerships.

Denis Naughten

Ceist:

214 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the legislation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under his departmental control; when he will publish any such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26880/00]

Ceist:

215 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if his Department has a public private partnership section; the number of staff allocated to this section; the specific projects being dealt with by this section; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26895/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 214 and 215 together.

My Department does not have any function in the implementation of public private partnership projects under the national development plan and consequently it does not have a public private partnership section nor is it required to introduce any legislation to implement public private partnership projects.
