Vol. 526 No. 4

Written Answers. - Public Private Partnerships.

Denis Naughten

Ceist:

301 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the legislation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under his Departmental control; when he will publish any such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26887/00]

Ceist:

302 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if his Department has a public private partnership section; the number of staff allocated to this section; the specific projects being dealt with by this section; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26902/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 301 and 302 together.

The implementation of the social inclusion measures in the national development plan affecting my Department do not involve public private partnerships. Accordingly, no legislation will be

required for this purpose.
