41 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the developments that have taken place since 19 October 2000 on the European Commission draft regulation unbundling the local loop; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27690/00]
On 26 October 2000 the European Parliament adopted amendments to the draft regulation on local loop unbundling.
The Committee of Permanent Representatives, at its meeting today, is expected to consider the revised draft regulation and submit it to the Council of Ministers for adoption.
