Ceist:

364 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of freedom of information requests received by his Department; the number of requests rejected; if he will review the treatment of freedom of information requests; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29467/00]

The information sought by the Deputy is set out in the following table. This covers the period 21 April 1998, when the Freedom of Information Act came into force, to 30 November 2000 – the latest date for which statistics are available.
