385 Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will appoint a shared resource teacher to Carrigaholt National School, Kilbaha National School, Cross National School, Moveen National School, and Querrin National School; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29211/00]

I am aware that an application for resource teacher support has been received from the schools referred to by the Deputy.

My Department's inspectorate is currently considering this application. As soon as the inspectorate has reported, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities in relation to this matter.
