432 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the fact that there can be up to a 30 minute delay in the pick up of two persons (details supplied) in County Sligo who are attending a special needs school; if he will intervene on their behalf and authorise a home pick up; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned a home pick-up transport service for the two pupils in question. I expect that this will assist in alleviating any delays currently being experienced by the pupils.
