269 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will ensure that the total overtime other than the 15 hours overtime per week which is built into the pay of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath is considered in the calculation of this person's lump sum and his pension entitlement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The pension and lump sum entitlements of the officer in question have been calculated in accordance with the existing superannuation regulations. The regulations governing the calculation and payment of pensions are of general application and it is not open to me amend them in the case of an individual officer.
