207 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the total number of civil servants currently on the transfer list to other sections of Departments outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1985/01]
The number of applications from across the Civil Service for the transfer list to my Department's offices outside Dublin are as follows: Cork – 730; Castlebar – 276; Wexford – 32.
The transfer list is being thoroughly revised and updated by my Department to ensure that it fully reflects the position at this time. I caution, therefore, that pending completion of this exercise the figures provided cannot be taken as current or definitive.
