240 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the total number of civil servants who are currently on the transfer list to other sections of Departments outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1986/01]

The number of civil servants from all Departments currently on the transfer list to other sections of this Department outside Dublin is 159. All these have requested transfers to our passport office in Cork.
