Ceist:324 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence when the completion of the sale of the houses at Orchard Park, Curragh, County Kildare, will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1386/01]
Written Answers. - Defence Forces Property.
I am advised that contracts of sale are at present being prepared by the Chief State Solicitor and it is expected that they will be issued to the purchasers' solicitors in the coming weeks. It is anticipated that the first sales will be completed approximately two months after the contracts of sale have issued.

Ceist:325 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence if he will investigate the rent payments of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1387/01]
As I previously indicated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 186 on Tuesday, 28 November 2000, the deduction of the rent will cease with effect from the date that the sale of the property is closed.
