1061 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 146 of 21 June 2000, he has completed the review mentioned in his reply; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1935/01]

The review of the firearms licensing policy to which the Deputy refers is ongoing. I expect however that it will be completed in the near future.
