Ceist:1198 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the provision of a new school at Listellick, Tralee, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1732/01]

My Department recently indicated to the management authorities of Listellick national school that it is proposing to appoint a design team to advise on the most efficient and cost effective way of providing accommodation at the school. It is not possible at this early stage to say what the format of the project will be or when construction will commence.
