Ceist:142 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance when work will commence on the Shinkeen River drainage scheme at Hazelhatch, County Kildare, following the public display of the scheme in October 2000. [3103/01]
Written Answers. - River Drainage Schemes.
The Shinkeen Stream – Hazlehatch – drainage scheme was exhibited in December 2000 and observations received from the public, including proposed scheme amendments and requests for additional works, are currently being considered by the Office of Public Works. It is envisaged that the issues raised and the statutory processes will be addressed in the coming weeks with a view to works commencing on site by late Spring.
