The following is the information requested by the Deputy: the Irish Medicines Board was established on 1 January 1996 and its allocation for the year 2001 is £811,000; the Health Research Board was established in August 1986 and its revenue allocation for the year 2001 is £10.571 million; the Food Safety Promotions Board was established in 1999 and its Exchequer allocation for the year 2000 was £3 million; the Food Safety Authority of Ireland was established on 1 January 1999 and its revenue allocation for the year 2000 was £5.25 million; the Health Insurance Authority was established on 1 February 2001 and a sum of £400,000 was allocated to cover its initial setting up costs – ongoing costs are to be met by a levy on health insurance premium income; Comhairle na nOispidéal was established in July 1972 and its budget for the year 2000 was £380,000; the Women's Health Council was established in June 1997 and its budget for 2001 is £400,000; and the Health Service Employers' Agency was established in 1996 and is funded through the contributions of its members.
