347 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 332 of 22 November 1999, the progress made on the land registry application of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4436/01]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that these applications refer to a transmission and an application under section 49 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which were lodged on 5 November 1998 and 16 November 1998 respectively. I am further informed that queries issued to the lodging solicitors on 5 December 2000 regarding the section 49 application and that both applications cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved. Accordingly, it is not possible to estimate a completion date for the application concerned at this stage. I have also been informed by the Land Registry that Dealing No. D1998SM007593K must be brought to a satisfactory conclusion before Dealing No. D1998SM007404K can proceed.
