456 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science when a psychological assessment will be undertaken in respect of persons (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4966/01]
I am happy to inform the Deputy that the primary school referred to has recently been assigned to one of the newly appointed psychologists in the National Educational Psychological Service, NEPS. The psychologist has been in contact with the school to investigate the needs of the pupils in question and has agreed assessment and consultation arrangements with both school management and the parents of the pupils named by the Deputy.
