111 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the funding which has been made available to the Eastern Region Health Authority for the 2001 service plan in respect of special housing aid to the elderly; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5380/01]
An allocation of £1.28 million by the task force, who, under the aegis of my Department, administer the scheme of special housing aid for the elderly, has been notified to the Eastern Region Health Authority for the operation of the scheme within its area for 2001.
