Written Answers. - Tourism Grants.
The Department does not directly allocate or administer tourism grants. This function is primarily carried out by Bord Fáilte under a number of different programmes. Apart from direct funding by Bord Fáilte, the funding schemes in operation in 1999 and 2000 were the Operational Programme for Tourism 1994-99 and the tourism elements of the International Fund for Ireland, Ireland-Northern Ireland INTERREG and the Programme for Peace and Reconciliation.
