I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the tax assessment which issued was based on the figures on the taxpayer's return of income. However, a schedule attached to the return shows a lower figure for rental income than that entered on the return. The inspector of taxes is now satisfied that the lower figure for rental income shown on the schedule is correct and an amended assessment is being issued to the taxpayer.
