Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Ceist:

248 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide the information asked for in Parliamentary Question No. 247 of 5 December 2000. [5771/01]

I understand that the information sought has now been furnished direct to the Deputy by the Eastern Regional Health Authority.

Question No. 249 answered with Question No. 209.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

250 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Limerick will be called for an MRI scan at Cork University Hospital as due to the medical condition it is urgently required. [5857/01]

The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Limerick is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
