Ceist:

280 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if the South Dublin County Council area will be the beneficiary of the deployment of an additional fire appliance or appliances; and the location or locations of these having particular regard to the massive new and proposed housing in the Lucan area of the county. The distribution of fire appliances among its fire stations is a matter for the local fire authority, in this case Dublin Corporation.
