360 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if her attention has been drawn to proposals by the Irish Seal Sanctuary to develop a site for the protection of seals; her response to these proposals; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6043/01]
I am aware of proposals by the Irish Seal Sanctuary to develop a site for the protection of seals. The position regarding these proposals and funding of a site remains as outlined in my replies to Question Nos. 226 of 13 February 2001, 970 of 30 January 2001, 142 and 151 of 14 November 2000, and 760 of 7 November 2000.
