130 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Finance if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 479 of 30 January 2001, he will state the number of operators who have received back payments covering the years prior to 1997; the current cost to the Exchequer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that no repayments of excise duty on hydrocarbon oils used in the provision of school bus services have been made for the period prior to 1 January 1997. Therefore, there has not been any cost to the Exchequer.
