245 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he is satisfied with the regularity of school medical examinations; the number of examinations received by each child at primary and second level; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7218/01]

My Department does not operate the schools medical examinations service. Therefore, I am not in a position to comment on the matters raised by the Deputy. It appears that these matters would be more appropriate to my colleague, the Minister for Health and Children.
