674 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the danger to children resulting from illegal parking and the volume of traffic at the rear of St. Ann's and St. Thomas' national schools, Esker, Lucan, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department's building unit has no record of any correspondence from the school authorities regarding the issues raised by the Deputy.

In any event, these are matters more appropriate to either the local authority or the Garda.
