Ceist:

127 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the names of all consultancy companies that have carried out work for her Department since June 1997; the names of any subsidiary company or agency under their remit; the work or study involved in each case; the amount paid in respect of each case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8292/01]

Information requested by the Deputy in respect of work carried out by consultancy companies on behalf of my Department and on behalf of national cultural institutions under the direct control of my Department and the amounts paid in respect of that work since June 1997 is set out in the following table.

The information does not include details of individuals employed because of their particular experience or expertise on specific projects, or of consultants engaged on operational projects, such as engineers, architects or archaeologists who are engaged from time to time as the need arises. The information does not contain details of consultants appointed by other agencies, such as local authorities, for which my Department provides funding.
Should the Deputy be interested in a particular project or consultant not included in the following list the relevant information can be provided.
