Ahern asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if he will clarify the situation in relation to an application for a pendant alarm from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 who was approved in 2000 with a community group which is now no longer in existence; if the pendant alarm can now be installed; the person or company who can do so; and if original equipment can be recovered or replaced as it was offered to the person in 2000 but deferred as she had an old style phone.
