Ceist:

446 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the wishes of the board of management, parents and staff of Saint John's primary school, Tralee, County Kerry, for extra classroom space in the context of vacating of the secondary school in June 2001; if he will sanction this option; and his general view of such a proposal. [9642/01]

My Department is currently considering the most efficient and cost-effective way of providing suitable accommodation at Scoil Eoin national school.

The school authorities will be informed of the position as quickly as possible.
