Ceist:

450 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve the request for an extension to the school transport service in an area (details supplied) in County Kilkenny on safety grounds in view of the recent initiatives to improve the school bus service. [9698/01]

A report has been requested from Bus Éireann on this matter. The Deputy will be advised of the outcome as soon as the report has been received and assessed.
