Written Answers - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
The national development plan provides for expenditure of £2.4 billion on major water and waste water schemes during the period 2000 to 2006. Last July I published the water services investment programme, 2000-02, which sets out my Department's investment strategy for waste water facilities for those years. A copy is available in the Oireachtas Library. This is the first phase of a three year programme that will be rolled forward on an annual basis up to the end of the NDP in 2006.
