52 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps being taken to bring all Garda stations up to a proper standard of accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10991/01]
All Garda accommodation is continually under review to ensure that it meets the operational requirements of the Garda Síochána. Where it does not, then the required refurbishment, or construction, works are completed by the Office of Public Works with all due urgency, and in accordance with overall priorities within the Garda building programme and the availability of financial and other resources. While I am aware that the GRA recently expressed its concern for its members in a number of stations, I am satisfied that their concerns are being addressed in each case.
