293 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason an official of the South Western Area Health Board has not responded to a letter (details supplied) sent to him on 7 February 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11524/01]

I have been advised by the Eastern Regional Health Authority that a reply to the letter referred to by the Deputy did, in fact, issue on 13 February 2001 and that a further copy was passed to him on 17 April.
