Written Answers - Capital Projects.

529 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the capital projects funded by his Department in the Dublin south east area during 2000-01; the amount of funding in each case; the projected capital pro jects by his Department in 2001; the amount of funding in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11807/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that information in relation to the funding of the various capital projects undertaken by my Department are not maintained on a constituency basis. Having said that I can give the Deputy the following information.

A Garda CCTV system is planned for Bray and Dún Laoghaire. It is envisaged that the CCTV system in Bray will comprise of 13 cameras and the system in Dún Laoghaire will comprise of eight cameras. Detailed costings for either project are not yet available.
Under the equal opportunities child care programme, four capital projects for a total of £275,290 have been approved for funding in the Dublin south east area. The table below indicates capital grants approved to April 2001 for the programme in 2000 and 2001.
