Written Answers - Child Care Funding.
I have been informed by my Department's equal opportunities child care section that, to date, no application for funding under any of the measures under the Equal Opportunities Child Care Programme, 2000, has been received either directly from the child care facility in question or from Dublin Corporation. A number of application forms for capital grants were issued, on request, to the facility on 1 December 2000 by my Department's equal opportunities child care section. While there is no closing date for the child care grants scheme, funding can only be allocated to groups on receipt of a completed application form and following the assessment and appraisal process. My Department will, of course, give due consideration to any application for funding from the facility in question.
