Ceist:

212 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the EU directives relevant to his Department which are awaiting implementation; the nature of the directive; when it was passed by the Council of Ministers; the final date for implementation; and if this deadline will be met. [13008/01]

Substantially transposed by Local Government Water Pollution Acts and related environmental legislation. Water Quality Standards for Phosphorus were set by Regulations made in July, 1998 and for a range of other dangerous substances by Regulations made in January, 2001.
