92 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he intends to implement the recommendations of the report of the task force on training and employment in the Irish seafood industry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12804/01]
The task force report contains recommendations on a wide range of issues that fall within the functional areas of responsibilities of a number of Government Departments and agencies.
The report is currently being considered by my Department and the various Departments and agencies involved. The issues raised in many of the report's recommendations are substantial and far-reaching and require detailed examination and assessment.
