158 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the number of cattle slaughtered in each county in the course of the beef destruction scheme; the costs in terms of payments made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14320/01]

The extent to which the information requested by the Deputy can be extracted from the cattle movement monitoring system – CMMS – is currently being examined. I will revert to the Deputy as soon as possible.
