Vol. 536 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Conor Lenihan

Ceist:

199 Mr. C. Lenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 has been on a waiting list for ear, nose and throat surgery in Tallaght Hospital for over two years; the reasons for such a protracted delay; when she may expect treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14704/01]

Services for eligible patients at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin 24 are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have asked its regional chief executive to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
