265 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will ensure that the River Griffeen catchment management scheme for which he approved contract documents in June 2000 is fully completed in 2001; and if he will provide a progress report on the current status of the River Griffeen scheme. I approved contract documents for this scheme in June 2000. This cleared the way for South Dublin County Council to seek tenders for the work, and to proceed to construction. The advancement of this scheme is a matter for the council.
