Ceist:150 Mr. Kirk asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he is considering a review of the liquid milk producers butter fat reference levels; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14627/01]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota.
The relevant EU regulations governing the operation of the milk quota regime which provide for the imposition of super levy, also include measures to restrict increases in the fat content of milk deliveries. Any amendment of those measures would require a proposal from the European Commission and there are no indications that such a proposal will be brought forward.
