Vol. 536 No. 6

Written Answers. - Ordnance Survey Ireland Bill.

Liam Lawlor

Ceist:

160 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Finance if he will respond to the concerns of workers at the Ordnance Survey office in the Phoenix Park, in relation to proposals in the Ordnance Survey Ireland Bill, 2001, and the amendments put forward by trade union representatives in respect of certain provisions of the Bill; if he will respond formally to the trade union representations (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15188/01]

A formal response will be issued very shortly to the trade union representations which have been made to me in relation to the Ordnance Survey Ireland Bill, 2001. This response will address the concerns of the workers in the Ordnance Survey and the amendments to this Bill put forward by trade union representatives.
