Vol. 536 No. 6

Written Answers. - Decentralisation Programme.

Alan Shatter

Ceist:

202 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the planned move of the Legal Aid Board management and administration functions to Caherciveen includes both management and administration staff and if he will confirm that the premises in Mount Street Lower are not being retained to house such senior management. [15147/01]

I am informed by the Legal Aid Board that the decentralisation of its head office to Caherciveen will involve the transfer of most management and administrative functions. I am further informed that a number of management and administrative staff will be based in Dublin, while others will have a dual location in Dublin and Caherciveen. Finally, I am informed that the premises at Mount Street is not being retained to house senior management in Dublin.

Question No. 203 answered with Question No. 67.
