350 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the energy costs incurred by his Department each year for the past three years in each of the energy sectors respectively; the use made of renewable energy; his further plans regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15860/01]
The energy costs incurred by my Department for the past three years are as set out in the following tabular statement. In relation to the use made of renewable energy sources, the Deputy will appreciate that, while my Department pays for its heating and lighting requirements directly, it has no expertise in the area of alternative energy sources and, in this regard, would rely on the advice of the Office of Public Works.
