Ceist:

155 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the current anticipated and or revised projected capacity and facilities for the proposed Stadium Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16434/01]

The capacity of the stadium as advertised in the tender competition is 80,000 seats. The competition is also seeking bids for the design, build, financing, operation and maintenance of other facilities for Sports Campus Ireland including 15,000-20,000 seat multi-purpose indoor arena; indoor/outdoor training facilities for all sports sports science and medical centre; headquarters accommodation for national governing bodies of sport; athletes' accommodation; tennis centre; golf academy; velodrome; 100 acre parkland; major children's play area-educational facility; and hotels, restaurants and parking. Finally, there is the national aquatic and leisure centre, to be known as the Pool @ Abbotstown.
