Ceist:171 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will re-examine an application under the extens ification premium scheme 2000 by a person (details supplied) in County Waterford. [18035/01]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The person named indicated that he wished to be considered for extensification premium 2000 at the lower rate of payment, that is, the rate that applies to a stocking density of two or less livestock units per hectare.
He did not indicate before the end of the year 2000, as provided for under the terms and conditions of the scheme, that he wished to change his option and accordingly payment can only be made at the lower rate.
A payable order for £233.91 was issued to the person named on 20 May 2001.
