133 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Defence the plans he has for the naval boat transport service which operates out of the Haulbowline Naval Base; the cost of same each year over the past three years; his views on the service that has been provided to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The operation of the naval boat transport service is kept under ongoing review. The estimated annual costs associated with the provision of this service were £510,000 in 1998; £525,000 in 1999; and £565,000 in 2000.
